The unfolding of the truth with regard to disappearances,extra-judicial killings and all other violent criminalities staged by the fallen Hasina regime have raised many questions among the people after the publication of the documentary and reports on the victims of enforced disappearance by the UN Commission on enquiry. The Commission members have come up with multiple recommendations to concerned stakeholders and other actors in order to provide security, soothing and other protection mechanisms. Unfortunately, the same age old narrative of the “Islamist militant” seems more appearing now. More than 1900 individuals filed their reports at the Commission and the Commission came up with some concrete ideas, however, due to limited time,constraints and challenges, they failed to address all incidents. From a neutral perspective, it may be addressed by these according to the rising contends and such other potentials of non-coordination within actors of the government. The joint office of the Home and law ministry failed to provide solutions to all with regards to finding a solution. Rather, they have relied on the stories,findings and papers manufactured by previous agencies who made up all these.It is time to provide or declare a general Amnesty for all the individuals accused of terrorism, on a general sense,most of these were made up according to the wills of the Hasina enablers who ultimately disappeared people,handed over many to a neighbouring country and some lost lives during the disappearance.The last ones who got freedom lost basic human rights and dignity due to the worst tagging and such other paintings on their carrier. This also needs to be mentioned that people affiliated with the so-called terror organisations have faced worst setbacks during the last fascist regime.
The Commission members have ended their program but except one all have been adopted at the national human rights Commission. Hope,they will reflect their know how on getting a fact finding on the terror plots and victims of enforced disappearances and other crimes be taken into account accordingly. Their security and rehabilitation must be held in the possible highest place during this free time.
