Newly elected Prime Minister Tarique Rahman was exiled in the UK for a handful amount of time and he experienced National Health system there as the best which he found suited for the people of Bangladesh as well and based on that from the next month onwards, the govt is likely to launch the e-health card which has been resonated by the recently appointed Home Minister Md Sakawhat Hossain Bakul and State Minister Dr M A Muhith . The physicians associated with the nationalist front much known as the DAB ; its leaders Dr Harun Ur Rashid,Dr Zahirul Islam, Dr Mehedi Hasan, Dr Zahid Raihan and all many have exchanged views with the health minister on this urgent priority.
The DAB leaders also discussed that during the previous Fascist Hasina regime, Nationalist, patriotic and professional doctors & health workers were removed from any key position and suffered extensively. It is high time, those physicians take the lead in the key positions for betterment of the country’s weakened, corrupted & ruined health sector.
