Pro-Indian ’71 BAL narrative unlikely to serve BNP

Recently a strong debate has stirred controversies with BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu & main opposition MP Colonel Abdul Baten on 100 days of BNP government. This video has already gone viral and now it has come to the front that BNP has accomplished best terms during this 100 days and the opposition wants a strong foundation for the progress.

The talkshow turned into heated debate due to the question posed by Dudu on 1971 role of Jammat- e -Islami . This is now a big question for us that as a national party, Jamaat has demonstrated aspirations to co-operate the govt for next five consecutive years. On a clear note, it has been found that some elements within Jammat & BNP find themselves marginalised and they want divisions among both parties for resurface of the fascist regime of Hasina. This requires both to show best possible mutual respects and find common grounds Against all odds.

Jammat has accused BNP of violating popular mandate and BNP has also found Jammaat using different narratives in different places,in and outside the Parliament. After all, the high command of BNP does not adopt hateful comments and Jamaat controversial legacy of 1971 to be brought forward. However, it has been a big weapon to foil their progress on range of ambitious plans. At the same time, it is in best interests of BNP to concentrate to define its fault line for leaders & policy makers to provide more spaces for everyone.

After all, both the leaders seem clearly dedicated to their party agenda and it’s imperative that all forces of good find common ground among themselves for their very respective standpoints against fascist Hasina regime.
