PM elect Tarique Rahaman has brought some radical changes within the Armed forces to modernise & depoliticize the Patriotic Armed forces of Bangladesh. To make such changes happen, the PM has appointed new CGS Lietenteant General Mainur Rahaman, New PSO Lietenteant General Mir Musfiqur Rahaman, new DG DGFI Major General Kaiser Rashid Chowdhury and in some other posts. Brigadier General Dr Shamsul Islam Surjo, the Defence Adviser to the PM, visited the defence ministry today and exchanged views with all officers, staffs and guests.He briefed the journalists according to formal courtesy meets. He strengthened to bring about radical changes in armed forces with the dreams of people who sacrificed lives during the July. He expressed gratitude to all for their kind presence on the inauguration day.
