The individuals who have suffered from enforced disappearance, along with their families, are not in any way more effective fighters than those who made sacrifices on 36 July. This initiative was among the most significant programs conducted following his return, addressing the concerns of the reappeared disappeared individuals and their relatives. Similar to the July fighters, they too should be regarded as freedom fighters. The legal proceedings concerning these crimes have commenced, and Tarique Rahaman expressed his deep commitment, accompanied by tears and profound sorrow, to all those affected at the China-Bangladesh Friendship Centre on January 18th. Salauddin Ahammed, a standing committee member, and Hummam Quader Chowdhry, two of the most notable victims of disappearance, along with the wife of Elias Ali, spoke to the audience. This event was organised by We the BNP family and Mayer Daak. The program echoed the concerns of individuals from various backgrounds. The speakers emphasised the importance of ensuring that all offenders face a fair, credible trial, followed by immediate execution. The event concluded with a glimmer of hope that justice will prevail for everyone, regardless of differing opinions and political affiliations.
