After 18 years , Bangladesh has witnessed a parliament with full life, vibrance and debate. On the first day of the Parliament, the opposition fiercely opposed the speech of the likely outgoing President. The Prime minister and the opposition leader applauded the placement of Retired Major Hafiz ( Bir Uttam) as the new speaker. It is quite important to note that NCP and Jamaat alliance really impressed the whole nation by playing a strong role as a true opposition party who fought Hasina for 16 years and democracy has now made them face one another.
However,the presence of the Ambassadors of USA, Australia,France , India,UK, Switzerland, Netherlands and Canada has been highly appreciated by the Gen Z community on and offline. The fascist Hasina regime propagated all bad news regarding BNP and Jamaat for last 16 years terming them as Islamist militant and others. The reality has been totally different in Bangladesh. Two former honourable Ambassadors of USA were disrespected by BAL fascists in Bangladesh . Now, it is quite clear to them Bangladesh will get due honour to build up it’s own economy with the help of allies and partners.
