After taking over the oath, Prime Minister stunned people with a new trend within the Cabinet. He after coming home in front of crowds declared, “I have a plan”. He wanted Bangladesh Health Services to be just as NHS of the UK. Even Shaheed President Zia and his mother Begum Khaleda Zia also played the best parts in Health and education sectors. These two sectors appear to be at priorities across Country. Bangladesh has been serious threats of diseases ranging from infectious to deadly noninfectious due to air, water and atmospheric pollutions. These causes added and ruined the health sector to the worst due to unaccountable, corrupted and unhealthy administration which added salts to injuries. A hard and smart man like Sardar Sakawat Husain Bakul was much required to mend this dying sector. It is extremely concerning to address rising diseases in the country due to dirty foods and spaces for patients that Private-Public hospitals both were driving the country towards pangs of death. The sudden visit to Gazipur Sub district hospital made people happy and he tasted foods for patients and ordered the authorities to take actions to better qualities immediately.
For a new government with majority of people’s mandate, it is important that everyone plays vital roles to make physicians more responsible to patients and thus this health sector will get a new life.
